Word and Action enrolls volunteer services and supports of prominent individuals including celebrities as well as compassionate community members to highlight its cause and draw attention to child sexual abuse epidemic in our community and around the world. The Ambassadors' Guidelines provides ample details of the responsibilities and important information as to the procedures of becoming a "W&A Ambassador."

Ambassador UNESCO Haiti

Claude-Alix Bertrand is Ambassador UNESCO, Haiti. He is also Global Ambassador for the Special Olympics, the founder and captain of Haiti Polo Team, and the national polo team of Haiti. Haiti Polo Team has won numerous polo championships, titles, and honors since its inception.

 

Furthermore, Claude-Alix is the publisher of the luxury monthly magazine “Polo Lifestyles,” which is the leading magazine where the Sport of Kings (polo) meets luxury content. Claude-Alix was born and raised in Haiti. He learned to play polo in Barbados and later spent 10 years playing polo professionally for Team USA. Claude-Alix currently resides in California’s Bay Area.
